RideSafe Motorcycle Towing is a company dedicated to serving the needs of the motorcycle rider in
the Fort Worth and Dallas areas. My name is Terry Purdom owner and operator of RideSafe Motorcycle
Towing. My goal is simple, that is to provide “peace of mind” for the riders in the North Texas area. I have
been on a motorcycle most of my life and I understand the concerns of today’s rider. I provide several

Ride Smart, Not Impaired
Riding a motorcycle is freedom.
You feel the wind and the power of
the engine as your tires devour the
road, mile after mile. Now, thats a
high worth having.
But a high from alcohol or drugs
can kill. Half of all motorcycle
crashes involve alcohol or drugs.
You increase your chances of
dying in a crash by 400% with a
blood alcohol content (BAC) above
the legal limit. Most alcohol-related
motorcycle crashes happen at
night between the hours of 12 and
3 a.m., after the bars close and the
parties end. The majority are
single-vehicle crashes as the
impaired rider runs off the roadway
and crashes into a tree or some
other roadside hazard. Most
involve males between the ages of
25 and 49.
Motorists cause the majority of
motorcycle crashes. Experienced
riders know that all they can really
count on is their motorcycle, their
riding skills, and their protective
gear. Riding impaired reduces your
reaction time, so even minor
maneuvering can become a major
challenge. Be your own best friend
on the road.
Ride with the Right Gear
The right gear can save your life.
The #1 thing you can do to
improve your odds of avoiding a
life-threatening injury is to wear a
helmet. In fact, wearing a helmet is
required by law in many states,
including Texas. Other protective
clothing—such as appropriate
footwear, gloves, long pants and a
brightly colored jacket—can also
reduce injuries in the event of a
